Service technician (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Troubleshooting of PLC controls & frequency converters
• Installation and commissioning of our machines and systems at the end customer’s site
• Identification of spare parts and initiation of orders
• Advising customers on site
• Documentation of your own work in short reports (MS-Office)

Your profile:

• Completed training as a mechatronics technician, electrician, electronics technician or a comparable electrotechnical qualification.
• Willingness to work in the field for at least 50 % of the working time, and participation in alternating on-call service
• Willingness to travel (80 % Germany, 20 % other European countries)
• Ideally, you already have several years of relevant professional experience
• Strong analytical skills to develop complex, practical solutions to problems
• Customer and service orientation as well as good communication skills
• Enjoy working independently
• Flexibility and ability to work in a team, enjoy working across departments
• Good spoken and written German, good spoken and written English
• Class B driver’s license, ideally forklift and crane driver’s license

• Basics of mechanics and electrical engineering
• Assembly of components and systems
• Control technology e.g.: Pneumatics, hydraulics, electro-pneumatics and PLC technology

Your profile:

• Qualifying secondary school diploma, good intermediate school leaving certificate or high school diploma
• Good performance in the subjects mathematics and physics
• Understanding of physical and technical processes and interrelationships
• Manual dexterity and careful working methods
• Sense of responsibility, ability to work in a team and flexibility

Excerpt of your training contents:

• Planning of manufacturing processes
• Programming of numerically controlled machine tools
• Setup and operation of manufacturing machines
• Production, quality assurance and optimization of workpieces
